Google Pixelbook i7 Complete Review

The Google Pixelbook i7 is a great device that you can use for both your personal and professional needs. It features an excellent operating system, processor, pen and memory as well as battery life. However, it does have some shortcomings such as its lack of ports and a poor camera quality. The following is our review of this amazing device:

Operating system

The operating system of the Google Pixelbook is based on Android, and it’s not a user-friendly experience. This could be due to Google’s lack of optimization for the Pixelbook or just because they don’t want to make any changes.

The OS itself isn’t terrible; it has its perks, such as being able to run Android apps and have them display correctly in Chrome OS  but I found myself using an app like Tasker or Dashboard Pro instead of using Chrome OS’ built-in features.

Processor

The Intel Core i7-8th gen processor is the only real speed demon in this laptop. It’s clocked at 2.9 GHz and can turbo up to 4 GHz when needed (which happens about once every 20 minutes or so). It also has 6 cores, 12 threads, 15W TDP and a 4 MB cache  all of which are great for multitasking on an integrated graphics card.

If you want more processing power than what the Pixelbook offers out of the box, you can upgrade your computer with an extra RAM stick or two (up to 16 GB total) by purchasing sticks from Google’s website or third party retailers such as Amazon Prime usually have sales on these items right now . However if you plan on doing any video editing work then upgrading would be worth it since it will allow users access features like Adobe Lightroom CC which gives users access to professional level editing tools such as advanced color correction controls for example

Pen for Pixelbook

The Pixelbook is a great tool for note-taking, drawing and sketching. Its pen is lightweight and comfortable to hold, but it’s also surprisingly powerful. It can be used as a stylus or even as an eraser when you’re writing or drawing on your screen (though there’s no way to erase by pressing). You can also use it in conjunction with Microsoft Office apps like Word or Excel to annotate your work with notes and drawings right in the app itself  just like how we do when we’re using our laptops .

Storage and Memory

The Pixelbook comes with 128GB of storage, which is expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card. The 8GB RAM is not expandable, but it’s plenty for most tasks.

The good news is that you can get an extra hard drive if you want to save some space on your main system drive. While there are no other external ports or connectors in the design, you can use an optional USB-C hub (which costs $50) to connect multiple peripherals such as external keyboards and mice or even a USB-A dongle for audio output if you need it.

Battery

The Pixelbook i7 has a battery that lasts up to 10 hours. You can use it while charging, even if your phone is also charging  so long as there’s enough juice in the Pixelbook, you’ll be able to keep working.

The Pixelbook i7 comes with two USB-C ports: one for charging and another for data transfer (and charging). These are located on either side of the device’s keyboard base, so you can always find them when needed.

Dimension

The Pixelbook is a small laptop, but it’s not just a little laptop. It’s an extremely thin and light laptop with a huge screen. And its battery life? It might be the best we’ve ever tested on any laptop: 10 hours of use with Wi-Fi activated, 20 hours of standby time (which means you can watch Netflix for over two days).

Pixelbook has been designed to fit into your bag or pocket without making too much noise or weighing down your backpack as well as being comfortable to use. There are no sharp edges anywhere on this device so even if it falls from armrest height onto concrete flooring it won’t damage itself in any way shape or form (unlike other laptops).

Camera

The front-facing camera is 8 MP and supports 1080p video recording. The rear-facing camera has a 12.3 MP resolution, but you’ll want to use it sparingly because the battery isn’t really optimized for taking photos or videos of anything other than yourself (the display is larger than the average person’s face).

The Google Pixelbook i7 does not support 4K video recording, which would be great if your phone can do it anyway; however, it does support HDR video recording  and its HDR capabilities are pretty impressive . If you’re into panoramas and/or landscapes with a lot of detail in them (such as landscapes), then this will come in handy when shooting photos using HDR on your Pixelbook i7 .

Weight

The weight of the Pixelbook is 1.5 pounds and not heavy at all.

The device is also very light, which makes it easy to carry around with you wherever you go and use in your daily life.

Headphones

The Google Pixelbook i7 is an amazing device. It’s a great laptop for students, writers, designers and anyone else who wants to work on the go.

This laptop has all of your favorite features that you would expect from a premium device such as:

  • A beautiful glass back panel with chrome accents.
  • A spacious keyboard that makes typing easy and comfortable (no more cramped wrists .
  • An impressive display with 100% color gamut coverage so you can enjoy all the colors your heart desires .

Software

The Google Pixelbook comes with the latest version of Chrome OS, which is based on Linux and the Chromium web browser. It’s an operating system that can be used as a replacement for Windows or macOS, but doesn’t have any native apps (what we call “apps” in Android). Instead, you’ll use web apps like Gmail and YouTube to do everything you need to get done.

The most important thing about Google’s new Chromebooks is their ability to run Android apps  which means you can install things like Facebook Messenger on them . The only problem is that many of those apps won’t work unless they’re installed from their website instead of being installed directly onto your Chromebook’s hard drive. That said: if you want something simple and easy-to-use without any fussing around with downloading files from iTunes or manually installing APKs from somewhere else online then this might be perfect for your needs .

Keyboard

The keyboard is a good keyboard. It’s not the best, but it’s good enough for most people to be satisfied with their experience on it. The buttons are spaced well and have enough travel to respond without being too mushy or slippery when pressed (though I don’t find them as satisfying as Apple’s keyboards).

The only thing that detracts from this experience is its size: at 12 inches wide and 6 inches tall, it won’t fit in many bags  but if you’re looking to buy the Pixelbook solely for its keyboard, then this shouldn’t be an issue .

Trackpad

The trackpad is the best part of this laptop. It’s large and smooth, which makes it easy to use and navigate. Clicking is also very responsive, so if you’re a touch typist like me (and I’m sure many others), you’ll be able to type as quickly as possible with no problems at all. Scrolling through pages also works seamlessly without any issues or lag whatsoever  even though my fingers are much larger than average when it comes to their size compared with other people’s hands or fingers .

The overall experience of using this device while using its keyboard was incredible; however, there were some minor problems with how well they worked together when playing games such as Destiny 2: Forsaken which requires fast reflexes and accurate timing in order for players not only survive but also thrive against enemies who are always trying out new strategies against them every time they try something new themselves.”

Google Pixelbook i7 is an amazing device.

Google Pixelbook i7 is an amazing device. It’s a great device for creative professionals, as well as students who need to work on the go. The processor is powerful and has enough RAM to handle any task you throw at it, and there are plenty of ports available so you can connect your computer to external devices like cameras or printers without having to worry about compatibility issues.

The laptop also comes with two USB-C ports    one on either side    which makes it easy to connect any kind of external hub or accessory that uses USB Type-C connectors (this includes everything from speakers through monitors). It’s also worth noting that this machine features some impressive specs under its hood: 8GB RAM and 256GB storage space .

Conclusion

Google Pixelbook i7 is an amazing device It has a great design, the processor is powerful and it has a battery that lasts all day. However, there are some downsides to this product as well. First of all, it doesn’t have Flash support which means you can’t use Flash games on your computer anymore (unless they’re HTML5 based). There also isn’t any native support for Linux at launch time so if you plan on using Linux with this machine then don’t buy it just yet .
